1. The service

Dollar PDF™ ("we," "us") is a pay-per-conversion document-conversion service. You upload a file, you pay one US dollar per conversion, and you receive the converted file as a download. We do not run a subscription.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload files that infringe copyright you do not own, contain malware, contain illegal content under the law of the United States, or are intended to be used to harass other people. We may decline to process a file we believe is being used to circumvent these terms.

3. Payments

Pricing is one US dollar per file, total. Where sales tax, VAT, GST, or other consumption taxes are required by law, they are included in that price — you will never see a separate tax line at checkout. The displayed price is the total you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. You authorize the charge when you complete checkout, and the charge is captured before the conversion runs.

4. Refunds

• Failed conversion. If our system marks a conversion as failed (the converter returned an error, the file could not be parsed, the conversion timed out), we issue a full refund of that line item automatically.
• Result not as expected. If the conversion succeeded but the result is unusable, email help@dollarpdf.com within 7 days of purchase. We refund without requiring you to explain why.
• Multi-item carts. Refunds are issued per item. A successful item in a cart is not refunded because another item failed.
• Refund timing. Refunds reach your card within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

5. File handling

Uploaded files and converted results are deleted from our storage 60 minutes after the conversion completes. We do not store copies. If your download link has expired, contact help@dollarpdf.com and we will reissue if it is still recoverable — otherwise you will need to run the conversion again. See the privacy policy for details on what we store and for how long.

6. Service availability

Dollar PDF depends on third-party services (Stripe, CloudConvert, Vercel, Supabase). We aim for uptime but we do not promise it. If the service is unavailable when you try to run a conversion, you will not be charged. If you were charged for a conversion that did not run because of an outage, refer to section 4.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or one US dollar, whichever is greater. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. No warranty

The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that every conversion will be byte-perfect — formatting fidelity depends on the source file. The refund promise in section 4 is your remedy for an unusable result.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if we believe you are violating section 2. You may stop using the service at any time. Termination does not affect refund obligations under section 4.

10. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. We will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, post a notice on the homepage for at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
