Why is it only $1?
We do not need a subscription to run a single conversion. The math works at $1 per file because we pay one cloud-conversion fee, the server runs for a few seconds, and you are done. No marketing budget, no app store cut, no support overhead from people stuck inside a recurring plan.
Is there a per-page or file-size fee?
No. $1 covers the whole file up to 100 MB. If your file is larger than that, you will see an error on upload — email us and we will help you split it.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
Not yet. The cart lets you convert several files in one payment ($1 each), which keeps the experience simple and the price predictable.
What happens to my file?
Your file is uploaded over HTTPS to our storage, sent to our conversion partner, and the result is streamed back. Both the source and the result are auto-deleted from our servers 1 hour after the conversion completes. We do not read, scan, or store the contents.
Do you train AI on my files?
No. We do not train any model on user uploads. We never share files with third parties beyond the conversion partner, who is contractually bound to delete them after processing.
Is the conversion done locally or in the cloud?
In the cloud. Browser-side conversion is too slow and unreliable for office documents. The trade-off is that your file touches our servers for at most an hour, which is the point of the $1 price — we charge for the cloud cost, not for storage.
What if my conversion fails?
Automatic refund within 30 seconds. We track every job, and if the converter returns an error, we issue the refund through Stripe and email you. No support ticket needed.
I paid but did not get my file. What do I do?
First, check your spam folder for an email from billing@dollarpdf.com. Otherwise email help@dollarpdf.com with the email address you paid with and we will refund within one business day.
Can I get a refund just because I changed my mind?
Yes — if you have not downloaded the file. Email help@dollarpdf.com within 24 hours of payment. If the file has been downloaded, the conversion was delivered, so we cannot refund.
Do I need an account?
No. Pay, download, done. Accounts are optional and only useful if you want all your receipts in one place.
How long is my download link valid?
1 hour from the moment the conversion finishes. After that, the file is deleted and the link returns a 404. If you need it longer, save the file as soon as the page shows the download button.
